I ate there two weeks ago... Same folks working there as before
Definitely the top Thai restaurant in Santa Barbara, try the panang curry lunch special,
Our party consisted of two vegetarians and two meat-eaters (is there a better term for this? don't say "normal"!). Upon arriving, we were greeted with a friendly smile and given the option to sit where we liked. The restaurant wasn't too busy, but there were enough patrons to make us think we didn't need to turn around and leave. We were all satisfied with our meals. My husband and I had an appetizer (crispy veggie rolls), veggie soup, and the house special of eggplant and tofu. Everything was well-prepared and tasty. Decor was interesting and the two fish tanks prompted an interesting discussion. Staff was friendly and efficient! Once we ordered, meals came to the table quickly. I highly recommend Your Place; I'll definitely go again when next in town.
Nothing gluten free and vegan. (Can get one or the other but not both)
Local's secret Thai restaurant; large menu, crazy busy, authentic and tasty. Although slammed, staff was gracious, courteous and helpful. And prices are quite fair, offering good value. We'll be back.
Used to love this place. Service is great. Folks are nice. For this time was only "ok";
Garlic Almond Shrimp is reason alone to deliciously dine there!
Can not begin to explain how much i love this food!! The drunken noodles are a must order they are delicious and spicy! But you can always ask to make it mild spicy or less spicy or even more spicy however you like it! The orange chicken is pretty good as well, their ginger soup is the best and their thai iced tea you will fall inlove with!! Can not recommend this place enough!!
The Best Thai food in Santa Barbara! While visiting the Santa Barbara area we decided to try Your Place and were delighted with our selection. Upon being seated, a local came up to us and said that we had picked the best Thai restaurant in town; and he wasn’t wrong. This restaurant has a large menu with all of the traditional Thai dishes that you’d expect and some house specials as well. The food was delicious and we all enjoyed ourselves very much. The interior decor is a little cheap, but elegant, and featured live fish tanks. The staff was kind and accommodating and they made our visit very enjoyable. #thaifood #santabarbara
Delicious food in an ethnic festive atmosphere. The service was a little slow but they were full and sat us fast. A full restaurant is a good sign. I will be back for sure.
Probably the best Thai restaurant in Santa Barbara. Their pineapple fried rice is unbeatable. Recently moved to LA, but I try to visit every time I’m back in SB. So good.
Semi Decent Thai food with terrible service. Never got checked on, left all the dirty plates between courses, No left water glass empty the entire stay. Refused to honor Yelp check in reward on Thai ice tea with purchase of entree. The duck in the curry tasted way past it's expireration date. I was nauseous before I could even make it home. It's a shame, because this place used to be really good. I won't make the mistake of eating there again.
Very very intimate setting, but great food. Very authentic Thai food which I love! The service was nice, they were busy and don’t speak much english, so don’t expect personal interest but definitely good tasting Thai Food!
Excellent food and service. Your Place has been a family favorite for quite some time now.
Excellent food the ambience made it very home style dining, felt like i was at a family's home
Great local family owned Thai food restaurant serving up authentic Thai dishes tamed for an American palate.
Best Thai Food restaurant in Santa Barbara. My favorites are the Pineapple Friend Rice. Pad Thai is also great.
One of the best Thai restaurants in town.
Authentic and delicious Thai food at reasonable prices
Always friend staff. Family oriented. A little tight spot, free parking. Food is delicious and the taste has remained unchanged since the last several years we have been going there.
I used one of my credit cards, she went back to the kitchen and came back Asking for a different card. Because the transaction was supposedly declined. Besides the embarrassment of having to change my card in front of other clients the lady charged both cards the amount due. Check your balance and card activity on your phones when you buy food there :/ food is great, to me the best Thai food in SB, but these little mistakes are not supposed to happen in a business I can easily say they stole from me...
This is a solid Thai restaurant. They have most of the things you would expect from a Thai restaurant. I got the combo pad thai which was really tasty. The thing I like about this restuarant is they let you choose your spice level. I really like spicier food. I have had pad thai so many times where the dish tastes good but there is no spiciness to even out the sweetness. I chose a spice level of 4 (out of 5) because this was my first visit and didn't know what to expect. If I go back I will probably get a 5. Everyone at the table seemed pleased with their meals as well. If you're in the mood for Thai food this is a good option.
I reccomend the Tum Yum. Friendly service.
I just loved their dishes. I always get awesome customer service here. The place is neat and the staff members are always nice. I highly recommend this place.
Really good thai food. Really good tofu options and prices were reasonable too.
Terrible food and rude service. Been here 3 times and it got progressively worse each time. Last time food had turned and taste was truly bad and entire experience was horrible - the owner was argumentative and very rude. Will never return!
Had so much fun in here!! Everything was delicious, great staff
This business is allowing customers to enter without a mask on during the Covid lockdown. Careful....
So far, this is my favorite Thai restaurant in Santa Barbara County. I always get the drunken noodles and it's always perfect. They give the shrimp a bit of a char taste that really enhances the overall flavor. The service is friendly and welcoming.
It is so so good most of the food it is super delicious
Great food and service
Food was great! Good service too!
Good tasty food. Have few vegetarian options. Their red and panang curries were very tasty. The place has good decor too
Food is tasty, no working toilets and staff are a bit abrupt
I've been eating here for over 40 years, always great food. The Tom Kah is the best in town.
Good food and service ice but a little pricey for my lunch budget.
Great food at economical price
I've never had even a mediocre meal here. Fantastic food & service, take out also!
